Microsoft's 'Telepathwords' can Tell Your Password's Safety

Microsoft, the renowned US software company, has recently introduced an internet tool namely ‘Telepathwords’, which helps to protect your password by selecting  a better one in the future. This tool predicts the next character of your password by considering the common passwords, like those made public owing to security breaks, common password selection behaviours and common phrases. The tool 'Telepathwords' works on a simple principle i.e. you simply have to type your favourite password in the text box and it tries to predict the next character of the password. The project manager said that in order to predict the subsequent
character that you type, the tool sends the typed character to enquire our prediction engine. The prediction engine then makes use of the database of common passwords and phrase which is very big enough to be send off to your computer. He also added that this new tool also sends and registers your mouse movement and the instance when the character was included or eliminated from your password so as to assess the outcome of Telepathwords on your behaviour.

Microsoft commented about the project “This log does not contain the actual characters you type, but it does indicate whether each character was among those predicted by Telepathwords". The new system analyses that how users are creating their passwords and what criteria being followed in coining them and build out a log file on each users password for the past periods and brings up suggestions to help them in choosing better passwords in the future.

AlwaysMouseWheel to Scroll A Window Without Clicking on It

AlwaysMouseWheel is a simple application which allows one to scroll a window on PC without clicking on the window but can switch to and scroll any window by moving the mouse cursor over it and spinning the wheel. If we need to scroll an open window on a PC then spinning the mouse wheel is the easiest way but this only works with a foreground window only which is currently selected. If you need to scroll some other window you should select it first.
